For many people, detox is the first step to sobriety. It is not an easy step to take but a necessary one to get well. Once you begin to let go of your addiction, the detox staff can begin to help you through the withdrawal process. This is the beginning of a life of new possibilities, repairing relationships, and taking care of yourself. We hope you make this very important decision when you are ready, and come to a detox facility that is clean and comfortable with staff that understand addiction and meet you where you are.
At The Detox Centers there are medication supported withdrawal management. Medical protocols and standing orders are provided to clients requiring medications to manage withdrawal symptoms. Typically, a client will spend between 5 and 10 days in Detox, depending on what substance they are withdrawing from. The Detox facility is clean, comfortable and supportive.
The withdrawal process includes effective best practice based techniques and medications to make your experience with detoxing as comfortable and easy as possible.
Program: there is light programming while you stay in detox. You will be able to take part in small group discussion, learning more about addiction, the recovery process, and renewing your desire for life. There will also be opportunity for relaxation and mindfulness exercises that can help alleviate withdrawal symptoms and bring you back in touch with your body.
