When it comes to alcohol rehab BC methods and programs there are several types to choose from. These include:

  • Community Outpatient Rehab- These are government sponsored or community based rehab services in order to help the individual overcome alcohol dependence and addiction. They may include group counseling and individual therapy on a regular basis, and these are provided in a non residential setting.

  • Residential Detox and Withdrawal Symptom Management- These are detox facilities that provide a residential setting in order to manage the withdrawal symptoms, especially if they are severe or likely to cause serious complications.

  • Non Residential Daytime Detox-Clients with this type of program receive detox services during the day but they go home at night.

  • Home Based Withdrawal Symptom Management- With this method detox services are provided at the home of the patient. This method can be very expensive and may not be as effective as a residential program.

  • High Intensity Short Term Residential Rehab-This type of rehab lasts up to 3 months in most cases, and it uses a very intense regimen of varying therapy types.

  • Low Intensity Short Term Residential Rehab- These may also be called sober living facilities. Continuing treatment is provided as the client transitions back to the normal world.

  • Long Term Residential Alcohol Treatment-Long term residential programs may last up to a year in most cases, and they are used by those who have had short term treatment that has failed in the past or those with chronic alcohol issues.

  • Christian Alcohol Rehab Programs- Christian based programs use faith based principles as well as more traditional treatment methods. This can greatly increase the rate of success achieved.

Choosing the right alcohol rehab BC programs and facilities is important. The Crossing Point offers Christian based treatment that is compassionate, comprehensive, and highly effective.
